Knight has agreed to a two-way contract with the Timberwolves, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
After going undrafted in 2020, Knight was signed to a two-way contract with the Hawks and appeared in 33 games. The 23-year-old averaged 3.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 9.5 minutes per game. The 6-foot-10 big man was reportedly joining Atlanta again for Summer League before he was scooped up by Minnesota. It's unlikely that Knight gets much run with the Timberwolves as Karl-Anthony Towns and Naz Reid have solidified themselves as the top two centers on the roster.
