Buccaneers' Tom Brady: Set to retire

Brady plans to announce his retirement Saturday from the NFL, Jeff Darlington and Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The greatest quarterback of all time will officially end his career after 22 seasons. The seven-time Super Bowl champion led the NFL in completions, passing yards and passing touchdowns in 2021, but after the Buccaneers' divisional-round loss to the Rams last weekend, various reports pointed in the direction of the five-time Super Bowl MVP likely calling it a career. The three-time league MVP will leave the game as the NFL's all-time leader passing touchdowns (624), passing yards (85,520), career wins (243) and Pro Bowl selections (15).
