Cardinals' Elijah Wilkinson: Designated to return

The Cardinals designated Wilkinson (neck) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

Wilkinson has been out since Week 7 due to a neck injury but is now one step closer to making his return. The team has 21 days to officially activate the 28-year-old, who was able to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday.
