Commanders' Eli Wolf: Placed on IR

Wolf was placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury Monday.

After signing a contract with the Commanders at the beginning of August, Wolf will now miss the remainder of the preseason with an unspecified injury. The tight end has yet to crack an active roster in his career, and he's now set to miss the 2022 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with Washington.
