Dolphins' Jay Ajayi: Removed from IR

Ajayi (ribs) has been removed from IR/designated to return and will be eligible to make his NFL regular-season debut Sunday against the Bills, ESPN.com reports.

The Dolphins have until Saturday to decide if Ajayi will play in Sunday's game. The rookie isn't sure whether he will be active, but he did suggest that his rib injury is no longer an issue. Once he's ready for games, Ajayi could push Damien Williams and Jonas Gray for backup work behind entrenched starter Lamar Miller.
