Giants' Saquon Barkley: Will be placed on PUP list

Barkley (knee) will begin training camp on the Giants' preseason PUP list, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Given that Barkley is bouncing back from late-October surgery last year to repair an ACL tear, it's no surprise that he'll be eased back into the mix this summer. Per the report, the Giants' star running back continues to make progress and will be eligible to be activated by the team at any point once training camp gets going.
