Welch (undisclosed) was placed on the Ravens' practice squad/injured list Tuesday, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Moving the linebacker will open up a spot on the Ravens' practice squad. Welch had an impressive training camp after going undrafted out of Iowa.
