Patrick O'Connor: Waived from injured reserve

The Lions waived O'Connor (knee) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Saturday.

O'Connor was placed on injured reserve Friday, so he'll be free to look for an opportunity elsewhere once healthy. The veteran defensive lineman has appeared in eight games this season, logging 10 tackles (five solo) and one pass breakup on 106 defensive snaps and another 143 on special teams.
