Seahawks' Uchenna Nwosu: Placed on IR

Nwosu (thigh) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Nwosu will now be sidelined for at least the next four games as he nurses a thigh injury that was suffered during Sunday's Week 5 loss to the Giants. As a result, Trevis Gipson should see a bump in opportunity beginning with Thursday night's game against the 49ers.
