Steelers' Ramon Foster: Avoids serious injury

Foster (knee) suffered a hyperextended knee Saturday but avoided ligament damage, Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network reports.

The Steelers feared the worst after Foster was carted off with a knee injury Saturday, but tests came back negative for ligament damage. Foster's timetable for recovery is four-to-five weeks, meaning the mainstay at guard could be ready for Week 1.
