Zach Line: Released by Saints

Line was released by the Saints on Saturday, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

Line was always a long shot to stick around, and his departure means that the Saints have no real concerns with John Kuhn's current calf injury. The 27-year-old signed with New Orleans in late August, and will likely have limited options elsewhere with many teams phasing out the fullback position.
