O'Connor was placed in COVID-19 protocols Sunday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
As of now, the Avalanche don't expect O'Connor to return before Wednesday's matchup with Dallas. The 25-year-old forward has 12 points through 25 games this season. He may return in time for Friday's tilt with the Stars.
