Francouz was placed on the COVID-19 list Sunday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

The 31-year-old netminder isn't expected to return until at least Jan. 5, per Baugh. With Francouz out, the team will need to promote a backup for Darcy Kuemper.
