Allen made 23 saves in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Red Wings.
The two teams battled back and forth in regulation, with neither ever holding more than a one-goal lead, but Allen and the Devils came out on top after Jack Hughes got sprung for a breakaway early in OT and didn't miss. Allen has started four of New Jersey's six games to begin the season, going 3-1-0 with a 2.98 GAA and .885 save percentage.
