Hogberg will start in goal on the road for a preseason game versus the Flyers on Thursday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
Hogberg will get his second preseason start after allowing two goals on 17 shots versus the Devils in his first game Sunday. The 29-year-old is attempting a North America comeback after spending three years in his native Sweden. Hogberg is likely to begin the year with AHL Bridgeport, though he could win the backup job over Jakub Skarek if Ilya Sorokin (back) is not healthy for Opening Night.
