Pittsburgh put Johnsson on waivers Thursday, per Chris Johnston of TSN.
Johnsson contributed nine goals and 30 points in 36 AHL contests with Utica in 2022-23. He also had three assists in 13 outings between New Jersey and San Jose. Unless Johnsson is claimed off waivers, he will probably start the campaign with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
