Bulging thoracic disc to send Evan Gattis to disabled list

Braves catcher Evan Gattis will be placed on the disabled list after Monday's MRI revealed a bulging thoracic disc, the team announced.
Gattis will be scheduled to receive an epidural to help his injured back. The team will make a corresponding roster move prior to Tuesday's game. Gattis has hit .290/.342/.558 with 16 home runs and 39 RBI in 224 at-bats.
