Giancarlo Stanton suffered face laceration on left side of face

Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton suffered a laceration on left side of his face, according to the team's official website. He is having X-rays and a CT scan performed at a local hospital in Milwaukee.

Stanton was drilled in the face by an 88 mph fastball from Mike Fiers. He was stretchered out of the field and taken to a local hospital for tests.
