Diamondbacks infielder Willie Bloomquist will miss a few more games with a back injury, according to MLB.com’s Steve Gilbert.

Bloomquist aggravated his injury during his first appearance since coming off the disabled list. Though Bloomquist singled during the at-bat, he admitted that his injury is still bothering him.

Bloomquist will receive an injection, which should help with the pain. He’s expected to rejoin the team this weekend.

The 34-year-old Bloomquist is hitting .302/.325/.398 in 338 plate appearances with the Diamondbacks this season.
