The Rays have optioned infielder Brooks Conrad to Triple-A Durham, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Tribune reported Tuesday. The Rays have not made a corresponding move yet but are expected to call up a bullpen arm from the minor leagues.

Conrad hit just .172/.213/.362 with the Rays with two home runs and nine RBI in 24 games. Including his 25 games with Milwaukee this season, Conrad has just a .487 OPS after entering the season with a .733 mark in 231 games.
