Giants pitcher Sergio Romo gave up just one hit and walked none in 3 1/3 scoreless innings in his last three appearances before the All-Star break while striking out seven batters.

Romo was removed from the closer role after blowing saves in three of his last five appearances of June, giving up nine earned runs in 4 1/3 innings during that stretch. He's been much better in July, though he did give up two runs in a one-out appearance during the first week of the month. Romo owns a 4.86 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 35:9 K:BB ratio in 37 innings.
