Yankees third baseman Chase Headley went 3 for 5 at the plate in Sunday's 14-4 win over the Red Sox.

Headley was hot at the plate from the first at-bat, ripping a 2-2 pitch from Clay Buchholz to right field for a two-run home run, driving in Alex Rodriguez. Then in the sixth, Headley singled to center, scoring Mark Teixeria.

"It was great. We knew we were capable of swinging a lot better than we had been," Headley said to the New York Post. "To come out and get on the board early, play with some emotion, it was fun."

Headley is now hitting .222 with five RBI in 27 at-bats this season.
