Brewers' Freddy Zamora: Moves up to High-A
The Brewers promoted Zamora from Low-A Carolina to High-A Wisconsin on Tuesday.
The 2020 second-round pick will move up a rung on the minor-league ladder after slashing .287/.396/.399 with five home runs and nine stolen bases in 321 plate appearances at Carolina. Zamora's high-contact approach should allow him to maintain useful batting averages as he moves up through the Brewers' farm system, though he may not hit for enough power to profile as an everyday player in the infield in the majors.
