Stubbs was reassigned to minor-league camp by the Astros on Tuesday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Stubbs did some damage in the few chances he was given this spring, going 7-for-13 with a home run. He'll likely start the season at Double-A Corpus Christi.

Astros' C.J. Stubbs: Joining Team Israel
Stubbs has left Astros camp to join Team Israel for the World Baseball Classic, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Stubbs has hit well for the Astros this spring but couldn't pass up an invitation to the WBC. He'll begin the regular season back in the minors.
