Yankees' Max McDowell: Latches on with Yankees
Rotowire
McDowell signed with the Yankees on Sunday was was added to the team's 60-man player pool.
As a member of the Brewers organization last year, McDowell slashed .213/.333/.314 in 315 plate appearances with Double-A Biloxi. He's unlikely to see much, if any, time in the majors this season given the presence of five additional backstops -- each of whom has major-league experience -- in the Yankees' 60-man player pool.
