Twins' Mark Contreras: Back in big leagues
Contreras was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul on Saturday, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
It will be Contreras' third time in the majors this season, and he appeared in three games between those two stints. The 27-year-old will serve as outfield depth with Trevor Larnach (abdomen) heading to the injured list.

Contreras was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.
The 27-year-old joined the Twins for their weekend series in Toronto while Max Kepler was on the restricted list. Contreras went 0-for-4 with an RBI and three strikeouts during his most recent stint with the big-league club but will head back to the minors after Kepler was activated Monday.

Though Minnesota hasn't announced a corresponding transaction, Contreras' demotion to the minors likely foreshadows Kyle Garlick's (calf) return from the 10-day injured list.
