Peralta will start Game 1 of the wild-card series for the Brewers on Tuesday, Stephen Watson of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.
The Brewers don't know their opponent yet, but Peralta is going to get the ball Tuesday regardless of who they play. Peralta collected a 3.68 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 200:68 K:BB over 173.2 innings covering 32 starts this season. The Brewers have not yet revealed any of their starting pitchers beyond Game 1.

While the 28-year-old has yielded just four total earned runs over his past three starts, he failed to log a quality start in any of his five September outings. Peralta allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out nine over five innings in a no-decision versus the Phillies on Wednesday.
Peralta limited the Phillies to an Alec Bohm solo home run in the second inning. While he hasn't been pitching particularly deep into games -- Peralta has gone six innings just twice over his last seven starts -- he's allowed just nine runs with a 34:17 K:BB over 37 innings in that span. For the season, he's at a 3.69 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 193:66 K:BB through a career-high 168.1 innings over 31 starts. The Brewers clinched the NL Central on Wednesday but are currently behind the Phillies and Dodgers as division leaders, so they'll still have something to play for while trying to line up their postseason rotation. Peralta is projected to make his next start at Pittsburgh.

Peralta didn't have his best command Friday, but he still did a decent job with run prevention. He's won three of his last five starts, allowing a total of seven runs across 26 innings despite a 22:13 K:BB in that span. Overall, Peralta is at a 3.75 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 184:64 K:BB through 163.1 innings over 30 starts this season. He's projected to make his next appearance at home in a rematch with the Diamondbacks.

Peralta (10-8) allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks over 4.2 innings Sunday, striking out four and taking a loss against Colorado.
Peralta coughed up a home run to Hunter Goodman in the third inning and was charged with two more runs when Sam Hilliard took Hoby Milner deep for a three-run blast in the fifth. It was Peralta's first loss since Aug. 12; he entered Sunday's start with a 1.61 ERA and a 3-0 record over his previous four starts. Peralta still generated an impressive 18 swinging strikes despite his lackluster outing. He'll carry a 3.81 ERA into his next matchup, which is lined up to be in Arizona.
Peralta (10-7) earned the win Monday against St. Louis, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks across 5.1 innings. He struck out three.
Peralta nabbed his third win in four starts, though Monday's outing was his third time striking out three or fewer hitters in that stretch. The 28-year-old surrendered a pair of solo home runs to Pedro Pages but was otherwise impressive. Through 153.2 innings this season, Peralta has a 3.75 ERA and a 175:58 K:BB. He's tentatively scheduled to close out a two-start week this weekend against Colorado.

Peralta has allowed just one run over his last 17 innings while winning two of three starts in that span. The veteran right-hander trimmed his ERA to 3.70 with a 1.19 WHIP and 172:56 K:BB over 148.1 innings across 27 starts this season. Peralta hasn't dominated as much in August with a 23:11 K:BB over 28 innings this month, but he's been successful in terms of run prevention. He's lined up to make his next start at home versus the Cardinals.
