Rockies' Ryan Ritter: Scores three runs
Ritter went 1-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored Sunday against Atlanta.
Ritter singled in the seventh inning, giving him one hit in seven of his eight starts since his promotion June 6. This marked the first multi-run game of his career, and he's also chipped in four RBI. While Ritter is getting decent results in the short term, he's also striking out at a 40.3 percent clip across 32 plate appearances.

Rockies' Ryan Ritter: First off day since promotion
Ritter is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta.
The Rockies recalled the 24-year-old on June 6 after placing Ezequiel Tovar (oblique) on the IL. Ritter has started at shortstop in all six of Colorado's games since, logging a hit each contest with a pair of triples and four RBI. He'll get a well-earned night off Friday as Orlando Arcia fills in at short.

Rockies' Ryan Ritter: Hits in three straight
Ritter went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Sunday against the Mets.
Ritter was recalled to make his big-league debut Friday with Ezequiel Tovar (oblique) sidelined. Ritter started all three games across the team's weekend series against the Mets and had a hit in each contest. He also collected the first RBI of his career Sunday on an infield single in the ninth inning. However, Ritter has also struck out four times in 12 at-bats.

Rockies' Ryan Ritter: Set for MLB debut
The Rockies selected Ritter's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.
Ritter will make his MLB debut Friday, batting sixth and playing shortstop against the Mets. The 23-year-old will have an opportunity to see consistent playing time right away, as the Rockies placed starting shortstop Ezequiel Tovar (oblique) on the 10-day injured list. Ritter has slashed .305/.413/.635 with 16 homers in 245 plate appearances at Triple-A this season.

Rockies' Ryan Ritter: Makes return from IL
Ritter (undisclosed) has gone 5-for-27 (.185) with three walks and five strikeouts in seven games since being reinstated from Double-A Hartford's 7-day injured list Aug. 27.
Ritter missed a little under a month with an undisclosed injury. The 23-year-old infielder is slashing .277/.380/.409 with six home runs and 17 stolen bases in 349 plate appearances for Hartford this season.

Double-A Hartford placed Ritter on its 7-day injured list July 31 with an unspecified injury.
The 23-year-old shortstop slashed .286/.389/.431 with six home runs and 17 stolen bases over 318 plate appearances for Hartford before being deactivated. It's unclear if Ritter will return to action at Double-A before Hartford's regular season ends Sept. 15.

Rockies' Ryan Ritter: Reaches Double-A
Ritter was promoted to Double-A Hartford on Thursday.
Ritter began the season at Single-A Fresno but has now jumped two levels. He's shown promise by piling up a combined 24 home runs and 17 stolen bases in 496 plate appearances on the campaign. On the other hand, he struck at a 34.3 percent clip at High-A Spokane before his promotion.
