  • Brewers' Brice Turang: First multi-homer day of 2026

Turang went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs, three runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 8-6 loss to the Nationals.

Entering Sunday, Turang was in the midst of a mini-slump. In the past four games, he had just one hit in 13 at-bats. However, he broke out of that in a big way Sunday, knocking two balls out for homers and recording his second three-hit game of the season. Overall, the 26-year-old has been excellent to start the 2026 campaign as the owner of a 1.058 OPS, nine RBI and 12 walks in 13 games played.

  • Brewers' Brice Turang: Back in lineup Friday

Turang (ankle) is starting at second base and batting out of the leadoff spot in Friday's game against the Nationals.

Turang was out of the lineup for the Brewers' last two games due to left ankle tendinitis, but he has been cleared to play in Friday's series opener against Washington. Through 10 regular-season games, Turang has gone 10-for-37 (.270) with four steals (five attempts), one home run and seven RBI.

  • Brewers' Brice Turang: Sitting with ankle/foot issue

Turang is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox due to an ankle/foot injury, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The second baseman has been playing through the injury for about a week, and the Brewers will take Tuesday's matchup against ace lefty Garrett Crochet as an opportunity to get Turang some rest. Milwaukee has a team day off Thursday after Wednesday's series finale in Boston, and it's possible Turang sits for a second straight game in order to string together three straight rest days and potentially get healthy. David Hamilton is manning the keystone Tuesday while Luis Rengifo starts at third base.

  • Brewers' Brice Turang: Remains out Wednesday

Turang (ankle) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Boston.

Turang has been battling tendinitis in his left ankle, which has nagged him for the last several days. He'll be on the bench for a second day in a row, and he'll receive an additional day of rest with the Brewers being idle Thursday. Per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Turang believes he'll be ready to go when the Brewers begin a homestand Friday. David Hamilton will handle second base for Milwaukee on Wednesday.
