Mariners' Kaden Polcovich: Back in action for Double-A
Polcovich (hand) has gone 5-for-21 with two doubles, two runs, an RBI and 3:6 BB:K in six games since being reinstated from Double-A Arkansas' 7-day injured list July 14.
Polcovich had been on the shelf all season while recovering from surgery to address a broken hamate bone. The 24-year-old is repeating the Double-A level again after slashing .242/.345/.386 with 12 home runs and 18 stolen bases in 524 plate appearances with Arkansas in 2022.

Mariners' Kaden Polcovich: Recovering from hamate surgery
Polcovich is on the 7-day injured list with Double-A Arkansas after undergoing surgery on a broken hamate, Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reports.
This procedure isn't a season ender, so look for Polcovich to get into action for the Travelers sometime this summer. The switch hitter has a .218/.322/.347 slash line with 14 home runs and 22 steals in 154 games at Double-A, dating back to 2021.

Mariners' Kaden Polcovich: Reassigned to minor-league camp
Polcovich was reassigned to minor-league camp by the Mariners on Friday, Corey Brock of The Athletic reports.
Polcovich hit just .242 in 118 games with Double-A Arkansas in 2022, but did post a .345 OBP with 12 homers and 18 steals. The infielder/outfielder will likely provide depth at the upper levels, and could either return to Double-A or possibly help out Triple-A Tacoma.
