Uzan chipped in with 14 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, an assist and a steal across 23 minutes in Friday's 125-120 preseason overtime win over the 76ers.
Uzan delivered an efficient scoring performance in a starting role, and it's safe to say the young floor general made the most of his opportunity. Even though his preseason performance made a positive impression, his regular-season opportunities remain uncertain given Boston's backcourt depth. He's not expected to have many minutes unless Boston suffers a rash of injuries in the backcourt.

Celtics' Milos Uzan: Starting against Philadelphia

Uzan will start in Friday's preseason game against the 76ers, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.
Uzan will start in the final game before the Celtics play the Pistons to begin the 2026-27 campaign. The 23-year-old hasn't had a productive preseason, most recently amassing four points and one assist in Saturday's 144-106 win over Philadelphia.
Uzan agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Celtics on Thursday, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Uzan spent time at Oklahoma before finishing his college career at Houston. In 37 appearances with the Cougars in 2025-26, he averaged 11.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.1 blocks and 1.0 steals over 33.0 minutes per contest.
