Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Puts up 16 points in playoff loss
Aldama logged 16 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and five rebounds over 29 minutes during Friday's 125-85 loss to the Lakers in Game 6 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
The Grizzlies struggled offensively throughout the series, aside from some bright moments, but Aldama made his presence felt in this one and stepped his game up despite coming off the bench. This was his first playoff game in double digits, but he only averaged 6.5 points and 4.3 rebounds across 16.5 minutes per contest in the series.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Off injury report
Aldama (elbow) is available for Sunday's game against the Lakers.
Aldama was one of many Memphis players sidelined for game 82 of the regular season but has been given the green light ahead of Sunday's playoff opener. With Steven Adams (knee) unlikely to return during the postseason, Aldama should hold down a significant frontcourt role off the bench.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Out Sunday
Aldama (elbow) won't play Sunday against the Thunder.
Aldama will be joining Jaren Jackson (elbow) on the sidelines for Sunday's game, so expect Xavier Tillman, David Roddy and Kenneth Lofton to hold down the frontcourt. Tillman should return to the first unit, and he could be a target for managers seeking some boards and stocks (steals and blocks).

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Unlikely to go Sunday
Aldama (elbow) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Thunder.
Aldama received a doubtful designation for the second consecutive game Sunday after injuring his elbow April 5. With the Grizzlies likely shorthanded Sunday, frontcourt duties could be left to Xavier Tillman, David Roddy and Kenneth Lofton.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Ruled out
Aldama (elbow) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Bucks.
As expected, Aldama has been downgraded from doubtful to out and will miss at least one game due to an elbow injury he suffered during Wednesday's loss to New Orleans. With Steven Adams (knee) also still out, the Nuggets will be thin in the frontcourt. Aldama's next chance to suit up will come during Sunday's regular-season finale in Oklahoma City.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Expected to sit Friday
Aldama is considered doubtful for Friday's game versus the Bucks due to left elbow soreness.
Aldama received a spot start Wednesday but left the game after just seven minutes of action due to an elbow issue. Fortunately, he doesn't appear to be dealing with a major issue, so he could have a chance to return for Sunday's regular-season finale if he's out Friday as expected.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Likely out for remainder of game
Aldama is doubtful to return to Wednesday's game versus the Pelicans due to an elbow injury, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.
Aldama recorded two points, one rebound and one assist in seven minutes before exiting Wednesday's game. The Grizzlies will likely have to go small with Jaren Jackson at center, as Xavier Tillman (ankle) is also out. Aldama's status for Friday's game versus the Pelicans is uncertain.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Gets starting nod
Aldama is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Pelicans, Rob Fischer of Bally Sports Southeast reports.
Aldama will replace Xavier Tillman (ankle) in the starting five Wednesday. Aldama is averaging 11.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 blocks in 28.5 minutes across his previous 19 games starting this season.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Productive off bench Friday
Aldama finished with 13 points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds and one block across 16 minutes during Friday's 108-94 victory over the Clippers.
Aldama returned to a bench role after making a spot start Wednesday, but he made his presence felt with an efficient performance. He ended just two boards shy of a double-double while scoring in double digits for the third time over his last seven outings. The Spaniard averaged 8.9 points and 5.5 rebounds off the bench during March.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Starting Wednesday
Aldama will join the first unit for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Rob Fischer of Bally Sports Southeast reports.
Aldama will step into the starting lineup for the first time since Feb. 5 with Jaren Jackson (calf) sidelined. In 18 appearances with the first five, Aldama has averaged 11.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks over 28.2 minutes.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Plays well as starter
Aldama notched 17 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 141-132 loss to the Clippers.
As the Grizzlies sat Desmond Bane (foot), Jaren Jackson (calf) and Tyus Jones (foot) on the second night of a back-to-back, Aldama got his first start since Feb. 5. He almost picked up his fourth double-double of the season. When Aldama plays at least 25 minutes he is averaging 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds. If the Grizzlies elect to rest other players to close out the season, he may be a worthwhile streaming option for rebounds.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Posts big double-double off bench
Aldama recorded 22 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 14 rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes during Monday's 112-108 victory over the Mavericks.
Aldama came into the contest averaging just 20.2 minutes over his previous five contests, but he saw 28 minutes against Dallas and made the most of his opportunity. The big man finished with his fourth double-double of the season, registering career highs in both points and rebounds. Aldama has proven capable of providing sneaky fantasy value when given ample playing time, but he's difficult to roster with his minutes typically in the high teens or low 20s.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Sneaky production in win
Aldama ended Thursday's 131-110 victory over Golden State with 15 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes.
Aldama played at least 30 minutes for the first time in over a month, topping double digits for the second straight game. With Brandon Clarke (Achilles) done for the season and Steven Adams (knee) set to miss at least another month, Aldama should feature heavily moving forward. While Xavier Tillman is the preferred option, Aldama could provide just enough value to be looked at for streaming purposes, even in 12-team leagues.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Fills up stat sheet Sunday
Aldama finished Sunday's 119-109 loss to the Celtics with nine points (2-11 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes.
Aldama's erratic shooting from the three-point range took a bigger performance off the table, but his ability to check off every major category made him useful enough for those that streamed him in Sunday. He's unlikely to approach 30 minutes like he did Sunday on a regular basis, however; the elevated playing time was a byproduct of starting power forward Jaren Jackson fouling out in just 20 minutes.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Shines off bench Friday
Aldama provided 18 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and four rebounds in 20 minutes during Friday's 128-107 victory over Minnesota.
Aldama made the most of his 20 minutes off the bench Friday, missing just two shots from the field and ending with one of his best scoring marks of the campaign. The Spaniard has scored in double digits in four of his last five outings, but he should remain off the bench going forward, and that should limit his upside considerably.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Returns to bench unit
Aldama isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus Chicago, Rob Fischer of Bally Sports Southeast reports.
Aldama will be replaced by Dillon Brooks in the starting lineup Tuesday. He is averaging 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.4 minutes across his last five games coming off the bench.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Quality numbers in starting role
Aldama finished Sunday's 106-103 loss to the Raptors with 15 points (5-11 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 32 minutes.
Though Jaren Jackson (thigh) returned from a one-game absence, Aldama still drew a second consecutive start as part of an oversized lineup that also featured Xavier Tillman at center. Aldama ended up serving as the small forward on the top unit in place of Dillon Brooks, who was serving a one-game suspension. Even if Ja Morant (wrist) remains sidelined for a second straight game Tuesday against the Bulls, Aldama will likely head back to the bench and should see a steep downturn in playing time, despite faring well over his pair of starts. Between losses to the Cavaliers and Raptors, Aldama averaged 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 33 minutes.
