  • Thunder's Dillon Jones: Grabs 10 rebounds in win

Jones produced six points (2-9 FG, 2-5 3PT), 10 rebounds, five assists, four steals and one block in 26 minutes during Thursday's preseason win over Atlanta.

Jones continues to flash some intriguing upside, delivering another strong two-way performance. With Isaiah Hartenstein (hand) and possibly Jalen Williams (ankle) set to miss the beginning of the season, Jones could force his way into the rotation. While it is unlikely he sniffs standard league value, he is a name to watch in deeper formats, at least as a short-term consideration.

  • Thunder's Dillon Jones: Shines in win Thursday

Jones racked up 23 points (8-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks across 35 minutes in Thursday's 117-89 preseason win over the New Zealand Breakers.

Several young players got the chance to play extended minutes during the exhibition. However, it'd be hard to find anyone who took more advantage of the opportunity than Jones, who filled the stat sheet admirably and made his presence felt on both ends of the court with a strong double-double. Jones, the 26th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, isn't expected to play a big role for the Thunder as a rookie, but this game certainly gives a glimpse of his potential as a two-way threat in The Association.

  • Thunder's Dillon Jones: Solid all-around outing Monday

Jones logged 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt), five rebounds and three assists across 26 minutes during Monday's 112-107 preseason win over the Spurs.

Jones recorded the third-highest scoring mark on the Thunder behind Ajay Mitchell (19) and Jalen Williams (18). In his final collegiate season, the No. 26 pick of the 2024 Draft out of Weber State averaged 20.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.0 steals across 37.0 minutes per game while shooting 48.9 percent from the floor. While the Thunder's roster is stacked, Jones could carve out a role in the rotation if Kenrich Williams (knee) misses time.

  • Thunder's Dillon Jones: Done for Summer League

Jones will sit out the rest of Summer League to give other players opportunities to play, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Jones is fully healthy, but after showing well in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, he'll focus on getting ready for the regular season. This year's 26th overall draft pick averaged 13.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game in five Summer League outings.

  • Thunder's Dillon Jones: Selected No. 26, traded to OKC

Jones was selected with the No. 26 pick by the Knicks in the 2024 NBA Draft before being dealt to the Thunder, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Jones spent four years at Weber State and ended his final season with averages of 20.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.1 triples, 2.0 steals and 3.0 turnovers per contest on 48.9 percent shooting from the floor and 85.7 percent from the line. He'll compete with Luguentz Dort, Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe for forward minutes in Oklahoma City, but he isn't likely to make much of an impact during his rookie season.
