Wizards' Johnny Davis: Scores 16 points in another start
Davis amassed 16 points (7-20 FG, 2-8 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 38 minutes during Friday's 114-108 victory over the Heat.
Davis got another start with the Wizards shutting down the likes of Bradley Beal (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Kyle Kuzma (ankle) and Monte Morris (ankle) following their elimination from the playoff race. The 10th overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft is beginning to show what he can do when given consistent playing time, as he has cleared the 30-minute mark in four straight games while surpassing the 15-point plateau each time. He's also scored double digits in six of his last seven appearances. However, it's also the time of year when these sorts of outputs don't mean much, so it's best not to consider his recent stretch much when discussing the future.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Steps up with stars sidelined
Davis registered 20 points (8-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 134-116 loss to Atlanta.
Though he's mostly disappointed since being selected in the draft lottery this past summer, Davis is quietly bursting onto the scene down the stretch while the Wizards have been holding out the likes of Bradley Beal (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Kyle Kuzma (ankle) and Monte Morris (ankle). Since entering the starting five Sunday in New York, Davis has cleared 30 minutes in each of Washington's last three games and is averaging 18.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 three-pointers, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks. With none of Beal, Kuzma or Porzingis looking especially likely to play again while Washington has little at stake over its final two regular-season games, Davis is shaping up as a strong streaming option Friday versus Miami and Sunday versus Houston.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Monumental game
Davis posted 20 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 140-128 loss to Milwaukee.
Davis supplied the best game of his young NBA career. His 20 points marked a career high, fueled by a flurry of nice floaters and some solid shooting. It's a promising game from the No. 10 overall pick in the 2022 draft.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Scores 16 in first start
Davis closed with 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes during Sunday's 118-109 loss to New York.
Davis got his first start of the season and turned in a career-high 16 points. The Wizards were without Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Bradley Beal (knee), Monte Morris (ankle) and Kyle Kuzma (ankle), allowing Davis to match his career high in minutes. The rookie has topped 20 minutes in five of the last six games. With the Wizards all but out of the playoff picture, Davis could provide some value in the final week of the season.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Making first career start
Davis will join the first unit for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
Davis will draw the first starting nod of his young NBA career, capitalizing on the absences of Monte Morris (ankle) and Bradley Beal (knee). The 10th overall pick has enjoyed an expanded role over his last three appearances, averaging 10.7 points and 5.0 rebounds over 27.2 minutes. However, he has shot just 37.5 percent from the field and 31.6 percent from beyond the arc in that stretch.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Excellent off bench in loss
Davis produced 15 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Sunday's 114-104 loss to the Raptors.
Davis spent most of the season with Capital City in the G League but has seen regular playing time recently, reaching the 15-minute mark in six of Washington's last eight contests. This was his best scoring effort of the season, and while Davis doesn't carry a lot of value in fantasy right now, he's certainly a player worth stashing or keeping close tabs on in dynasty leagues.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Hits double figures for first time
Davis finished Tuesday's 117-97 win over the Pistons with 11 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and five rebounds in 19 minutes.
The minute, point and rebound totals were all new career highs for Davis, who had largely been outside the Wizards' rotation for the first 54 games of his rookie season. While the team was without Kyle Kuzma (knee) on Tuesday, head coach Wes Unseld Jr. opted to get a look at the lottery pick out of Wisconsin, and Davis enjoyed some rare positive moments during his time on the court. Davis has often struggled with efficiency even against lesser G League competition this season, but he had built some confidence with the Capital City Go-Go prior to rejoining the NBA team, as he had averaged 18.3 points over his final six games with the affiliate. Kuzma could be back in action as soon as Friday in Cleveland, but Davis may have at least temporarily earned the final spot in Unseld's 10-man rotation.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Cleared to suit up
Wizards head coach Wes Unseld said Davis (illness) will be available for Tuesday's game against the Pistons, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Davis has been upgraded from questionable to available despite battling an illness, but it's unclear if he'll garner any playing time. The rookie first-round pick recently finally broke out at the G League level after a hip injury derailed the start of his campaign and earned an elevation. However, he played just seven minutes and didn't attempt a shot during Sunday's blowout loss to Philadelphia.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Dealing with non-COVID illness
Davis is questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Pistons due to a non-COVID illness.
Davis finally broke out at the G League level after an injury-plagued start to his professional career and was recently elevated to the NBA squad. He played seven minutes during Sunday's blowout loss to Philadelphia, but he didn't attempt a shot and recorded just one assist in seven minutes. The rookie first-round pick is now dealing with an illness and could find himself on the sidelines once again.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Leads team with 23 points
Davis delivered 23 points (9-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and a rebound across 32 minutes in Sunday's loss to Mexico City.
Davis has improved consistently as the season progresses, and the 10th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft has looked quite good in recent weeks. He has scored at least 17 points in four of his last five outings while reaching the 20-point mark twice in that span.

Davis had one of his best scoring outputs of the season, and the rookie led Capital City in points in the defeat. He's been playing very well of late and has scored at least 15 points in each of his last three appearances.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Goes for 19 points Thursday
Davis posted 19 points (7-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block across 35 minutes in Thursday's overtime win over Grand Rapids.
Davis was one of Capital City's best players in this win, and the 10th overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft continues to take steps in the right direction. It wouldn't be shocking if he starts seeing minutes at the NBA level sooner than later.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Scores 10 points Friday
Davis registered 10 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and a steal across 20 minutes in Friday's overtime win over Windy City.
The 10th overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft has not thrived at the G League level as many expected. He's averaging 10.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game on the season while shooting just 33.3 percent from the field and 24.2 percent from three-point range.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Struggles from field Friday
Davis posted 11 points (4-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists and four steals across 38 minutes in Friday's 104-101 win over Grand Rapids.
Davis found a way to score in double digits despite struggling with his shot, as he needed 15 field goals just to reach that plateau. The 10th overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft has a lot of work to do if he wants a shot in The Association, and he has been far from dominant in the G League, so he could remain with the Go-Go for most of the season.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Healthy again in G League
Davis (hip) has appeared in two of the G League Capital City Go-Go's last three games, averaging 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 22 minutes between the two contests.
Davis picked up a hip injury early last week, but it didn't result in a long-term absence. The rookie first-round pick isn't a part of Washington's rotation and is expected to continue seeing most of his opportunities with the Go-Go while he struggles to adjust to the professional game. Even in his four appearances against lower-caliber G League competition, Davis' averages of 10.0 points (on 33.3 percent shooting from the field), 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 26.6 minutes don't inspire much confidence about his long-term outlook.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Clear of injury report
Davis (hip) isn't listed on the injury report for Monday's game against the Warriors.
Davis was unavailable the past two games due to a hip strain, but he's off the injury report ahead of Monday's contest. The rookie first-round pick has played in only 10 NBA contests this season with minimal playing time.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Downgraded to out
Davis (hip) won't play in Friday's game versus the Knicks.
Davis has been downgraded from questionable to out Friday with a right hip strain. Monday's matchup with Golden State is the rookie guard's next chance to suit up.

Wizards' Johnny Davis: Questionable Friday
Davis (hip) is questionable for Friday's game versus the Knicks.
Davis continues to deal with a right hip strain. However, the rookie guard hasn't logged double-digit minutes in any of his 10 appearances this season, so his injury status is unlikely to affect Washington's rotation.
