Tuesday's SportsCenter featured an awkward break down of Michael Sam -- Rams defensive lineman and the first openly-gay player in the NFL -- and his shower habits.

While Josina Anderson reported Kendall Langford said Sam is "one of the guys and seems to be taking a rookie approach in terms of listening and learning at his own pace" she also reported one unnamed Rams defensive player's position on Sam's showering with teammates.

"Another defensive player told me Sam is 'respecting our space' and from his perspective he seems to think Michael Sam is kind of waiting to take a shower so as to not make his teammates feel uncomfortable," Anderson said.

It definitely wasn't Rams defensive end Chris Long, because he took to Twitter and let ESPN know he and "everyone" else "is over it."

Strong take from Long, who doesn't shy away from letting his opinions be known.

And the segment was probably a bit, ahem, much. At this point we're pretty far along in the process with the Rams and Sam and the media, who have much bigger concerns (Sam Bradford out of the year comes to mind) to deal with.
