If no one goes to a 49ers game, does it actually happen?
The answer to that question is yes, because the 49ers' 34-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday is definitely going to count in the standings, even though almost no one showed up for the game.
Here's a look at the crowd that was at Levi's Stadium as the game kicked off at 1:05 p.m. local time:

Clearly, 49ers fans had better things to do than travel the 50 miles from San Francisco to Santa Clara to watch a 1-5 team (49ers) play a 2-3 team (Bucs).
Although Californians are known showing up fashionably late to sporting events, that didn't happen here. The crowd never really got any bigger as the game went on.
As you can see, there were a lot of empty seats at the game.
Here's a look at the other side of the stadium:
The few fans who did show up decided to leave in the second half once the Bucs turned the game into a blowout.

At the rate the 49ers are going, they'll be lucky to get 214 people at their home finale against the Seahawks.
