    Harrell was waived by the Jets on Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

    Harrell joined New York as an undrafted free agent in May and caught one of three targets for 19 yards during the preseason slate. He's a candidate to join New York's practice squad.

    Harrell (undisclosed) was activated off the Jets' active/non-football injury list Tuesday, Aaron WIlson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    Harrell passed his physical Tuesday and is now set to return to practice for New York. Though the rookie undrafted free agent is a long shot to make the team's final roster, he will likely be competing for a spot on the practice squad.

    Harrell (undisclosed) was put on the active/non-football injury list by the Jets on Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

    The wide receiver can return at any point during training camp. Harrell signed with the Jets in May after going undrafted. As a sixth-year senior at Miami last year, he caught four passes for 45 yards.
