Delaire was waived by the 49ers on Monday.
Delaire bounced back and forth between the active roster and the practice squad for the 49ers throughout 2018, but he once again has been waived by the team. He appeared in two games last season, failing to record any stats on 23 defensive snaps.

Delaire has been on the team's practice squad since being waived by the 49ers in mid-October. The 26-year-old appeared in one game during his brief stint with the team, and should remain in a reserve role for Sunday's season finale.

Delaire hasn't played a game since the 2016 season with Carolina, when he made six tackles and one sack in six games. It's unlikely he sees much playing time behind Solomon Thomas and Arik Armstead at defensive end.

Delaire spent the entire 2017 season rehabbing a torn ACL he sustained last July with the Panthers. He was reportedly close to signing with the Eagles last December, but he wasn't able to pass his physical. Should he sign with the Cowboys, Delaire likely wouldn't be anything more than a rotational defensive end.
