Buccaneers' John Molchon: Activated from IR
Molchon (leg) was taken off IR on Monday.
Molchon, who has yet to play this season, is ready to return to action. He initially returned to practice Sept. 29, which opened a 21-day window to get him back on the active roster. That time has come. Molchon spent his entire first season with Tampa on IR or on the practice squad. He'll perhaps get his first true NFL game-day action soon. In a corresponding move, Tampa Bay released Jaydon Mickens.

Buccaneers' John Molchon: Returns to practice Wednesday
Molchon (leg) has been designated to return from injured reserve and is practicing Wednesday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official website reports.
Last year, Molchon initially made the Buccaneers' active roster as an undrafted free agent out of Boise State, but he eventually landed on IR and spent the rest of the season on the practice squad. The 24-year-old will have a three-week window to be added to the active roster. If he isn't, then he will spend the rest of the 2021 campaign on IR.

The Buccaneers placed Molchon (leg) on injured reserve Thursday, Luke Easterling of the Bucs Wire reports.
Molchon will miss at least the first three weeks of the 2021 campaign after being placed on IR. The 24-year-old is still looking to make his NFL debut after missing all of his rookie campaign with an undisclosed injury.

Molchon was waived by the Buccaneers on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The 23-year-old was activated off injured reserve Friday only to be removed from the active roster a day later. Molchon landed on injured reserve at the start of the season and is still looking to make his NFL debut.
