  • Dylan Donahue: Reinstated from suspension

Donahue (suspension) has been cleared by the league office.

The former Jet saw his 14-game suspension come to an end Tuesday following his reinstatement to the league. Donahue's career has gotten off to a bad start, but there's a slim chance another team will take a shot at the pass rusher down the road.

  • Dylan Donahue: Suspended 14 weeks

Donahue has been suspended for 14 weeks by the NFL after pleading guilty to DWI from a February car crash, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.

The 2017 fifth-round pick was given a hefty ban after he ran into a bus when driving the wrong way down the Lincoln Tunnel in February. He's currently a free agent and will have a tough time finding employment since he'll miss nearly an entire season.

  • Jets' Dylan Donahue: Pleads guilty to DWI

Donahue (elbow) pleaded guilty to DWI from a February car crash, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

On Feb. 26, Donahue ran into a bus after he allegedly drove the wrong way in the Lincoln Tunnel. Along with the DWI charge, he was charged with reckless driving. With the plea behind him, the NFL can levy whatever punishment it deems acceptable for a likely violation of the substance abuse policy. Making matters worse for Donahue was an accident on May 9, 2016, in Billings, Mont., where his SUV was found on its roof with him behind the wheel. That particular incident drew a misdemeanor DUI charge. Expect the commissioner's office to make a ruling in due time and perhaps before Week 1.

  • Jets' Dylan Donahue: Has two arrests in past year

Donahue's arrest in Weehawken, N.J. last month was his second related to alcohol and driving in the last year, Darryl Slater of NJ.com reports.

On the morning of Feb. 26, Donahue allegedly drove the wrong way in the Lincoln Tunnel and induced a crash with a bus. He subsequently was charged with DWI and reckless driving, the former of which could subject him to discipline under the NFL's substance abuse policy. Monday's news included another accusation in the same realm. Last May 9, or 10 days after he was selected in the fifth round of the draft, Donahue's SUV was discovered on its roof with the linebacker behind the wheel in Billings, Mont. For that infraction, he was charged with misdemeanor DUI. Both cases will have to play out before the league makes a judgement, but a suspension is likely with two transgressions on his record.

  • Jets' Dylan Donahue: Charged with DWI, reckless driving

Donahue (elbow) was arrested Monday in Weehawken, N.J. on charges of DWI and reckless driving, Caitlin Mota of The Jersey Journal reports.

The 25-year-old was taken into custody shortly after 2 a.m. local time when he allegedly caused a wrong-way crash in the Lincoln Tunnel that resulted in injuries to four bus passengers, according to authorities. Donahue, who appeared in four games with the Jets as a rookie before suffering a season-ending elbow injury in early October, is due in court March 13. The Jets issued a statement following Donahue's arrest indicating that they are aware of the situation and won't comment on the matter until the legal process plays out.

  • Jets' Dylan Donahue: Lands on IR with elbow injury

The Jets placed Donahue, who is dealing with an elbow issue, on injured reserve Wednesday.

Donahue, a 2016 fifth-round selection, sustained the injury while blocking during a punt return late in the Jets' overtime victory over the Jaguars on Sunday. The linebacker had seen most of his duties on special teams this season, so he won't be a significant loss defensively for the Jets. The team replaced him on the roster with outside linebacker Obum Gwacham, who had previously been a member of the Cardinals' practice squad.
