No. 1 Team Under The Most Pressure Entering The 2026 NFL Draft: New York Jets

Top Brisly Estime News

  • Brisly Estime: Let go by New York

Estime (Achilles) was waived by the Jets on Monday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

This move comes as no surprise given the team's overpopulation at the wide receiver position. Estime joined the Jets back in 2017 as an undrafted free agent. Depending on the severity of his Achilles injury, Estime could draw interest from other teams around the league.

  • Jets' Brisly Estime: Added to reserve/injured list

Estime (Achilles) was added to the Jets' reserve/injured list Tuesday.

Estime tore his Achilles during the first week of OTAs and after initially being released he was added back onto the roster under the reserve/injured list. The wideout does not cost the Jets a roster spot and will likely remain with the team for at least the remainder of the offseason, although there is no chance he plays this year.

  • Jets' Brisly Estime: Waived/injured following Achilles tear

Estime was waived/injured by the Jets on Thursday after he tore his Achilles during OTAs, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.

The rookie out of Syracuse will miss the entire 2017 as a result of his injury, but he could return to the Jets and be placed on injured reserve if he clears waivers. Estime was not expected to carve out a role in the Jets' receiving corps as a rookie, but he had a chance to challenge Jalin Marshall for punt return duties.
