  • Cowboys' Camden Brown: Healthy scratch for Week 4

Brown (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The undrafted rookie has yet to make his regular-season debut despite making the Cowboys' 53-man roster after a strong training camp, and his next opportunity to do so is Thursday against the Buccaneers. The Cowboys will have five active wide receivers for Sunday's game, with the position group led by CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.

  • Cowboys' Camden Brown: Earns spot after strong preseason

Browns is one of six wide receivers on the Cowboys' initial 53-man roster, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports.

The Cowboys seem to have found a diamond in the rough with Brown, who signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in May after recording 1,079 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns at Georgia Southern in 2025. Prior to that, Brown played at Auburn for three years. Brown's two-touchdown performance in the Cowboys' preseason opener helped him earn a spot on the team, but Ryan Flournoy remains the favorite to join CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens in three-receiver sets.

  • Cowboys' Camden Brown: Catches one pass in preseason finale

Brown caught one of his two targets for 27 yards during Dallas' preseason loss to the Saints on Saturday.

Brown served as one of the Cowboys' starting receivers and ended up playing 17 snaps on offense. The rookie undrafted free agent is facing an uphill battle to earn a roster spot and could be more likely to wind up on the practice squad.

  • Cowboys' Camden Brown: Has strong debut

Brown caught all three of his targets for 62 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday night's preseason game against the Seahawks.

The undrafted free agent out of Georgia Southern stole the show, with the best play of the night coming on a 39-yard touchdown reception from Sam Howell in the second quarter. The 6-foot-2, 204-pound wide receiver will need another strong performance in next Saturday's game against the Cardinals to truly move up a stacked Cowboys depth chart. Brown will need to beat out Jonathan Mingo, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and anyone else attempting to make the roster in order to take just the No. 5 spot behind CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Ryan Flournoy and KaVontae Turpin.
