Jacob Slade: Getting waived with injury
Pittsburgh waived Slade (undisclosed) with an injury designation Friday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
In a corresponding transaction, Pittsburgh signed defensive tackle Kyler Baugh on Friday. It's not clear what kind of injury Slade is nursing, but if he's not picked up by another team during the current waiver period, he should end up on the Steelers' injured reserve list.
