The Commanders signed Laufenberg to their practice squad Thursday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
In his third year out of Air Force, Laufenberg has yet to appear in a regular-season game. He's spent most of the past two seasons bouncing on and off the Commanders' practice squad.

Nolan Laufenberg: Back with practice squad
The Commanders restored Laufenberg (undisclosed) to their practice squad from the practice squad injured list Wednesday.
Laufenberg had been on Washington's practice squad injured list since Sept. 21 due to an unspecified issue, but he'll now be free to practice and possibly receive a promotion to the Commanders' active roster for the team's regular-season finale versus Dallas on Sunday.
