Keshawn Banks: Works out with Minnesota
The Vikings hosted Banks for a workout Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The Falcons waived Banks from injured reserve with an injury settlement Sept. 9. The linebacker has recovered from his undisclosed injury and is looking to make a return to the NFL. The Vikings appear to be looking at further linebacker depth after signing 35-year-old Kyle Van Noy to the active roster. Banks has played three career regular-season games, all for the Patriots in 2024, where he totaled 61 special teams snaps.

Keshawn Banks: Let go with injury settlement
The Falcons waived Banks (undisclosed) from injured reserve Wednesday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Banks reverted to the Falcons' IR on Aug. 31 after clearing waivers. The linebacker likely thinks he can contribute to another organization during the 2026 season and has reached an injury settlement with the team to become a free agent.

Banks (undisclosed) reverted to the Falcons' injured reserve list Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Banks was waived by the Falcons on Sunday with an injury designation. The linebacker will now spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season on IR unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

Banks (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Falcons on Sunday, Will McFadden of the team's official website reports.
Banks recorded two tackles during the preseason, but he appears to have picked up an undisclosed injury along the way. If he clears waivers, he'll revert to season-ending injured reserve with Atlanta. At that point, he'd need to reach an injury settlement with the team to have a chance to play in 2026.

Banks (groin) returned to practice Wednesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Banks has missed considerable time with the injury, but he still has more than a week to make an impression and ultimately earn a spot on the 53-man roster. The 24-year-old attempted to make the Packers' roster in 2023 and was unable to do so, but was brought back in January on a reserve/future contract.

The Packers listed Banks on the injury report Sunday due to a groin issue, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Banks was let go by the Packers ahead of the roster cut deadline in 2023, but he rejoined the team on a future/reserve contract in January. The groin injury will hopefully be a small setback as he looks to compete for a spot on Green Bay's roster in his second year in the league.
