  • Broncos' Riley Moss: Tallies five tackles in Week 10 win

Moss registered five tackles (four solo) during the Broncos' 10-7 win over the Raiders on Thursday.

Moss was working through a minor ankle injury leading up to Thursday's game, but that didn't appear to bother him as he played all 60 defensive snaps. The third-year corner has recorded at least five stops in five of his last six games and is up to 48 tackles (35 solo) and 10 pass defenses through 10 regular-season games.

  • Broncos' Riley Moss: Limited Tuesday

Moss (ankle) was a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough.

Moss was estimated as a non-participant in Monday's practice, so Tuesday's limited participation was progress. His status for Thursday's game against the Raiders remains unclear.

  • Broncos' Riley Moss: Stout in coverage vs. Bengals

Moss recorded two tackles (two solo) during Monday's 28-3 win versus Cincinnati.

Moss' mark in the box score wasn't awe-inspiring in Week 4, but he was a big part of the reason why Denver held Bengals wideouts to just 64 combined receiving yards. He's been solid in coverage generally to start the season, and he's also normally an opportunistic tackler for a cornerback. Moss could easily post a better tackle total come Week 5 at Philadelphia.

  • Broncos' Riley Moss: Logs seven tackles in win

Moss recorded seven tackles (five solo) in the Broncos' win over the Titans on Sunday.

Moss started at outside cornerback opposite Patrick Surtain and played all 57 defensive snaps versus Tennessee. In addition to the seven tackles, Moss also recorded a pair of pass breakups. Next up for Moss and Denver's defense is a date with Daniel Jones, Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce, Adonai Mitchell and Josh Downs of the Colts.

  • Broncos' Riley Moss: Significant improvement in 2024

Moss recorded 86 total tackles (65 solo), eight passes defended, including one interception, and one forced fumble across 14 regular-season games in 2024.

Moss served as one of Denver's starting outside cornerbacks in 2024, finishing as the team's third-leading tackler while starting all 15 games in which he appeared. However, Moss struggled in coverage at times this season, allowing 747 receiving yards (11.1 yards per completion) and a 95.4 passer rating when targeted. The Iowa product likely showed enough flashes to continue serving as the Broncos' No. 2 outside cornerback, as he remains under contract through the 2026 season and is expected to continue starting opposite Patrick Surtain in 2025.
