Brown was promoted to the Cardinals' active roster Wednesday.
Brown is expected to take defensive end Zach Allen's spot on Arizona's roster. Thomas has been dealing with a neck issue the team feels is serious enough to end his season. Meanwhile, Brown had appeared in three games with the Cardinals earlier this season and recorded two tackles.
