The Colts signed Shrader to their practice squad Monday.
The Notre Dame product filled in for the injured Matt Gay in Indianapolis' Week 1 loss to the Texans and made all three of his point-after tries. Shrader's promotion would appear to indicate Gay won't be available Sunday, but official word on the Colts' plans at kicker won't be available until the team announces its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

The Colts waived Shrader on Sunday.
Shrader signed with the Colts in May as an undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame. He was brought in to compete against Matt Gay for the starting kicking job, and Shrader finished the preseason making both of his field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point tries.
