Cade McDonald: Gets waived from IR
Cleveland waived McDonald (head) from its injured reserve list Tuesday, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
McDonald had been on the Browns' injured reserve list since before the start of the regular season, likely due to a concussion he sustained during the preseason, but he's now on his way out with the club. Unless he's claimed by another squad during the current waiver period, he's set to become a free agent.

Browns' Cade McDonald: Shifts to IR
McDonald (undisclosed) cleared waivers Wednesday and reverted to injured reserve, per the NFL's official media site.
McDonald impressed at Browns' rookie minicamp and stuck with the team through the summer and played all three preseason games, finishing with two receptions for 11 yards and a touchdown. The 24-year-old receiver will spend the rest of the season on injured reserve unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.

Cade McDonald: Waived/injured by Browns
Cleveland waived McDonald (undisclosed) with an injury designation Tuesday, Kelsey Russo of the team's official site reports.
It's not immediately clear what type of issue McDonald is dealing with -- he played in all three of the Browns' preseason contests, tallying two receptions on two targets for 11 yards and a touchdown. The 24-year-old signed with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent in May. In the likely case that McDonald clears waivers, he'll revert to injured reserve and miss the 2025 campaign unless he works out an injury settlement with the team.
