Jason Ferris: Reaches injury settlement
The Panthers waived Ferris (undisclosed) from injured reserve Sunday, Myles Simmons of the team's official site reports.
Ferris reverted back to the team's IR after he was waived/injured by the team Aug. 1. He was a two-time First-Team AP All-American at NAIA Montana Western the past two seasons, ranking third in the nation in tackles per game.

Panthers' Jason Ferris: Back on IR
Ferris (undisclosed) has reverted to Carolina's IR after having been waived/injured by the team Saturday, according to the league's official transactions report.
Ferris no longer counts against Carolina's roster limit. Barring an injury settlement, he's in line to spend the rest of the 2020 season on IR.
